Heroes Unite

A Community for Those Who Serve

Heroes Unite was founded with one purpose: to support the first responders who dedicate their lives to serving others. It all began with two dedicated police officers, Regan Vergotine and Virgil Ambrose, who spent over 20 years walking the beat together, side by side. Over the years, they faced countless challenges, victories, and heartbreaking moments as they worked tirelessly to keep their community safe. They took great pride in their service, but as time passed, they began to realize something deeply concerning — first responders, the very individuals who dedicated their lives to helping others, often received little support themselves.

For over two decades, Regan and Virgil patrolled the streets, responding to emergencies, defusing crises, and witnessing the day-to-day struggles of their fellow officers, paramedics, firefighters, and other first responders. They saw first-hand the toll the job took on those who served. It wasn’t just the physical exhaustion from long hours or the mental strain of seeing tragedy unfold; it was also the lack of resources, financial challenges, and emotional burden that often followed first responders home. Regan and Virgil realized that although these heroes gave so much, they didn’t always receive the support they needed in return.

As the years went by, this reality became personal. They watched colleagues burn out, relationships fall apart, and heroes like themselves struggle to find balance in a demanding profession. It was then that Regan and Virgil made a bold and life-changing decision: after 20 years of service, they left the police force to build something greater for the first responder community they loved.

This is how Heroes Unite was born. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges first responders face, Regan and Virgil set out to create a platform where first responders could access meaningful support. Their vision was to establish a community that didn’t just offer exclusive discounts and benefits, but also provided a space for wellness, mental health support, financial assistance, and other critical resources often neglected in the fast-paced world of emergency response.

Heroes Unite is much more than a membership program. It is a lifeline for those who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe. Whether it’s providing discounts on everyday necessities like groceries and meals, or access to wellness services such as fitness programs and healthcare, Heroes Unite exists to lighten the load for first responders.

Through partnerships with businesses across the country, Regan and Virgil have created a support network where first responders are prioritized. They envisioned a community where heroes feel valued, appreciated, and looked after — because they know first-hand the sacrifices made every day by those on the front lines. Heroes Unite isn’t just about giving back; it’s about creating an ecosystem of support that helps heroes take care of themselves, just as they take care of others.

Today, Heroes Unite is proud to serve police officers, paramedics, firefighters, and other first responders who make a daily difference in the lives of others. It’s a place where they can connect with the services they need, access exclusive deals, and most importantly, feel the gratitude they deserve for their unwavering commitment to our communities.
